Jukka Lemmetty is an esteemed and well-loved author and illustrator, whose positive and atmospheric illustrations have cheered up children and adults all around Finland for decades now. He fills his pictures with the magic and the mood of the passing moment, to convey the entire range of emotions with a few brush strokes. Jukka Lemmetty has illustrated, among others, the works of Leena Laulajainen, Hannele Huovi, and Raili Mikkanen, as well as writing his own picture books. Leevi Lemmetty is a writer, film and animation director, whose greatest pleasure is to tell stories. His films have been nominated for Best Finnish Animation, Best British Animation and Royal Television Society awards, and screened at festivals from Edinburgh to Hiroshima to AnimaMundi in Brazil. He is currently working on his first feature film, and a new series of children's books. Papa's Boy was his first book and was written alongside a short animated film which has screened at the prestigious Annecy Animation Festival, and was released by Nordisk Film in 2011.
