Since 1987 the world of finance has been documented in the newspaper comic strip Alex. For over 23 years its creators have launched daily satirical attacks on its ethics, its excesses and its complacency. Sadly to no real effect whatsoever…

Now to commemorate the event that was supposed to wipe out the bankers Tapisodes bring you 20 classic strips to your iPhone and iPad. Back in the days before Gail ended up sharing a cell with Tracey, after being widowed yet again following her husbands failed suicide attempt that resulted in his actual death: and even before the handsome but evil Tony Gordon tried to have poor old Roy and Haley assassinated: even preceding Rosie Webster’s kidnapping

at the hands of her teacher John Stape, who has since stolen the identity of a colleague so he can carry on teaching – we made a couple of Tapisode demonstrations for ITV.

They were intended to be a kind of fun interactive corrie catch up. They demonstrate pretty well the ability to take a pretty big story line that takes up a lot of screen time and translate it to a hand held medium.
